Verity is  trained to  Post Graduate Certificate  level in Hypnotherapy with the University of West London.   She originally studied for over two years with the LCCH, the only UK hypnotherapy college aligned to a University. 

She adopts an evidence based practice, ensuring the  therapeutic techniques used are based upon the latest relevant scientific research. The possible approaches used include a combination of Behavioural, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT),  Psychodyamic Therapy, Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) and are most often delivered within the framework of Clinical Hypnosis for faster and more effective results. 

Verity is also a qualified Hypnobirthing practitioner and has spent many years studying meditation and mindfulness theory and techniques.

Following many years supporting children's mental health with hypnotherapy Verity has recently studied with Place2Be for a Level 2 Award in Counselling Skills with Children.
