Group Relaxation sessions
In our fast-paced modern world, full of worries and stress it is becoming more and more important to find ways to find ways to relax, de-stress, and enhance our quality of life.
One of the easiest ways to learn and experience deep relaxation is to partake in group guided relaxation classes. Scientists have found that even a short course of meditation and quiet focus "strengthens connections between the regions of the brain that regulate our emotional responses". |

class objective enable employees to relax, de-stress and boost resilience and emotional strength.
style group-led (incorporating breathing meditation, muscle relaxation, self hypnosis, breathing exercises,
imagery, guided visualisation e.g. beach or forest scenes, visualisation exercises for increasing
confidence and self esteem.
experience none required - session are open to all
what to wear anything comfortable : you can sit on a chair or the floor
length approx 30 minutes
what to expect
Every class will be slightly different but an example would be:
A brief introduction, questions and getting comfortable followed by
>> passive progressive muscle relaxation (relaxing all the bodies muscles one by one and releasing tension)
>> breathing meditation: practising mindfulness meditation focusing on the breath and letting go of thoughts.
>> guided visualisation: walking through a nature scene (e.g. forest or beach) and letting go of worries
>> positive visualisation: asking you to imagine yourself thinking, feeling and behaving how you would like to be
e.g. more relaxed or more confident.
Feedback has found that all attendees leave feeling deeply relaxed, happier and better able to cope with the day ahead.
